Mark is an experienced solicitor who enjoys the diversity of practice that comes with working in a country law firm. His legal knowledge is complemented by over 30 years of first-hand experience working with clients to achieve their goals. As a solicitor, Mark is approachable and down-to-earth. He prides himself on giving tailored and practical legal advice to his clients.
Mark began his legal career with the NSW Department of the Attorney-General and Justice in 1974. For the next 13 years, he worked as a Clerk, Registrar, Coroner (and various other commissions) at a number of courts including the Sydney Small Debts Court and Special Federal Court, as well as Burwood, Hornsby, Griffith, Brewarrina, Finley, Tocumwal and Jerilderie Courts.
After being admitted as a solicitor in 1987, he joined a firm in Bourke, before joining the Parkes office of Matthews Williams where he has been ever since.
Mark travels to our Lake Cargelligo office on Wednesdays, and has done so for over 30 years.
Mark and his wife, Ann, live in Parkes and have an adult son. Mark enjoys working in the garden, watching cricket, travelling and anything to do with trains. He is actively involved in the Parkes Apex Club, Parkes Picnic Race Club and the Anglican Church.
