Kate Whale, Senior Associate

Office: Wollongong, NSW.

Key Areas Of Practice: Kate has experience in commercial disputes and transactions across a broad range of areas of the law. She has a particular interest in the hospitality and tourism industries.

Qualifications: Kate graduated from the University of Wollongong in 2017 with Bachelor of Laws and Commerce (Accounting) degrees. The same year she completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law and was admitted as a Lawyer to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and High Court of Australia.

Joined RMB Matthews Williams: November 2020

Kate is passionate about working with her clients to assist them in achieving their desired outcomes. Her experience in commercial law includes debt recovery, employment law, civil litigation, pharmacy law and drafting and reviewing commercial agreements.

Prior to joining RMB Kate worked as a commercial lawyer at a firm in the Sutherland Shire. She moved to Wollongong in 2019 and fell in love with the South Coast. In her spare time, Kate enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and travelling.
