Tanya Emmett, Senior Associate

Key Areas Of Practice: Tanya practices in the areas of property, local government, planning and environmental law.

Qualifications: Tanya graduated from the University of Wollongong in July 2004 with a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws degree. She was admitted to practice as a legal practitioner in July 2004.

Joined RMB Matthews Williams: June 2007

Tanya worked as a clerk in Sydney practising in family and personal injury law before joining Kearns & Garside in 2004.

She left to live, work and travel in the UK. In London, Tanya gained experience working for an international law firm in the areas of commerce and finance.

Tanya returned to Australia and rejoined the firm in June 2007.

Before relocating to the UK, Tanya lived and grew up in Jamberoo, NSW.

Tanya enjoys travel and spent most of 2006 exploring the UK, most of mainland Europe and Scandinavia.
